CAST IRON FISH FRY PAN
Finding a perfect pan for frying fish is a bit tough. Because, one has to be careful in cooking the dish, lest it gets burned. With The Indus Valley’s Fish Fry Pan, your cooking won’t go wrong. As the pan’s name denotes, it is ideal for frying, and trying out a fish recipe will turn out perfect, just as you would like it. Besides fish, this pan is good to fry vegetables or any kind of dish that requires shallow frying.
Care & Maintenance
Since the new frying pan comes pre-seasoned, it would need gentle cleaning initially. Use mild liquid dishwashing detergent to clean and then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
Apply any cooking oil and heat the pan over a gas flame for 20 mins. After it cools completely, wipe off excess oil, if any.
Repeat this process several times before you start using the pan. This will be useful to get the desired cooking results.
Always store your iron fry pan in a dry place after cleaning and seasoning.
Avoid leaving the paniyaram pan soaked in water for long. Cleaning the pan immediately after its use is highly recommended.
Does it have a Naturally non-stick finish?
Yes, all our cast iron products are pre seasoned which makes the product non stick while cooking.
Is the black color on the pan normal?
The black oil is supposedly the seasoning oil which is completely harmless. Frequent cooking and treating of the products might make the oil disappear

Is it easy to maintain cast iron products?
Yes, use mild liquid soap to clean the pan and scrub them with a soft scrubber. Rinse and thoroughly dry the cast iron pan with paper towels and rub a very light layer of cooking oil.

USE & CARE – Apply some vegetable oil on the pan and place it on the stove for 15 minutes under medium flame. After 15 minutes, switch off the gas and let it cool down completely. Now, wipe away the excess oil if any and store it in a dry place.
CLEANING – Wash with a mild soap and thoroughly towel dry or dry it in the stove over low heat .Using a cloth or paper towel, apply a light coat of oil (season the pan after every use).
